I’ll take these words like a beating, but they are far from
the Truth. You will find meaning when you realize this world is not about
you. Where’s the compassion? What rank are you to tell me I don’t belong?
Pride comes before the fall, you are not God, you never will be. When this
is over, you only make enemies, you were made for so much more. Oh to love
with a purpose and lose our arrogance. The more you put yourself on a
pedestal, the more wrath will be given to you. Harsh words try to destroy
the hope inside. I see who you are, where you’re heading, this path leads
only to Hell. Venom dripping from your lips, wounds the ill, I know you
see it. My hope will not die, this world is not mine, I’m not God in it,
stitch the mouth and show compassion. We are not the same I see your
intentions, they try to tear me apart, you love yourself with death in
your heart. We are not the same. We need to love and get “me” out of the
way, you are not God, you never will be. Your words are venom to the

5. Worthless Offer

How long will this happen? We are wrecked, turning to
idols to satisfy the hunger only You can fill. Worthless, our attempts to
find comfort in the emptiness of this world. They choke us out thinking we
will find it, pour more salt into the wound. This won’t be my end, I have
just begun to know what it means to live, forget this, I am done with
emptiness. There is more than what this world will tell us to live for,
the cares and the burdens will no longer be concern. I will leave
everything and watch it melt away with greater purpose than self
sufficient therapy. I will not go quietly, too long we have listened to
the lies that only drag us down, they choke us out until we die, I will
never die like the rest who get swallowed alive. I will never die.

6. Reason To Fear

I know this is real and that’s all I need to keep me
going. My soul will plead until the end. I’ll take this to the point of no
return, no reason to look back. Truth has been set, my eyes have seen a
new life hidden in the depths of repentance. Good bye, try to hold me
back, what I was, now forget. Decisions have come with resistance coming
at full. The plot inside us all is longing to control, but I won’t let it
with the power that I have been given. Try stopping me now, this is real,
there’s no reason to doubt. I belong to You, what should I fear when I
have freedom from understanding my desperate need for more than highs,
more than highs so temporary. I don’t belong, still You call me Your own.

We stand in awe of You and what You have done, the work You do
is all around to prove You are God. There is nothing more we need to see,
You spoke existence into being, and speaking, all goes down in flames. You
look at us with love. We can’t grasp what You offer, another chance for
redemption with Your power. You hold all things together, and in an
instant, this will all be over. Give me a voice to speak for the weary and
the weak. To show what You have done, with a heart of stone and death,
molded into beating flesh. I swear I will stand by what You have done to
give hope where there was none. I swear I will stand by what You have
done, You are King, Alive, Death trembles at Your voice. We stand in awe
of You and what You have done, the work You do is all around to prove You
are Good. There is nothing more we need to see, You spoke existence into
being, and speaking, You have revived me. I can never give You enough
credit, I have seen what You have done, I can’t go quiet. You are who You

8. Divided

What will they see? Conviction? Corruption? Actions are dead
when they don’t add up to the words that are spoken, there’s no
justifying, no getting yourself out of this. You reap what you sow and
then some more, they see you for who you are. Which side will it be? There
has to be a difference from the rest. Don’t claim to be what you’re not,
condemned we stand condemning others when we are the worst of all. We will
never attain perfection, humble yourself from within. If others don’t see
the difference, don’t boast anything. We are set apart, so live it. Who
will they see when they are beaten? Unloved? Mistreated? And forgiven?
They will know we are different by how much we love them. This is my plea
to you, remember the love given to you that you did not deserve. They will
know, we are different by how much we love them. They will see a

9. Unrest

Can You hear me? Is my voice loud enough? Why do I hear
silence? I am restless. In this moment, quiet is getting louder. I’m left
here waiting, when will I get my answer? Hear me at the moment when I lose
all. Don’t give up on me, I know I’m frail and unclean. I need strength to
get back down on my knees. How long will I hear quiet through the trials
and the violence that threaten my thoughts screaming I’m alone? I’m not
good with intentions to reveal my cause. You have spoken, my hardened
heart shut You out. Forgive me, I know I’m selfish, unworthy. I am nothing
without Your love for me. I said not to You with how I want everything.
Your silence has been screaming while my ignorance has left me deaf to
your calling. To Your meaning, I know You hear me, Your silent screams
leave me undeserving. This time I’ll shut up and learn. This time I’ll
learn to listen. You can hear me, my voice is loud enough, it’s not Your
silence, it’s my ignorance. Hear my voice, renew my mind, speak to me.

10. The Search

The time is now, hear His voice whispering your name. Seize
the day as a chance for a new beginning and an end to the burdens
strangling, taking the air you breathe. The search will be over to fit in,
to belong, hope is knocking. Say yes to the call replaced with a hole,
wanting objects to fill that will never fill enough. There has to be more
than the brokenness, more than the dead ends. We are longing to be more
than used for nothing. This is now, a time to find where I fit in, time
for a change, sick of the same thing over and over again. Why go in
circles that are useless, a never ending path of failure and
disappointment. It doesn’t have to be like this. You are wanted by someone
whose love never ends. Hear His voice whispering your name, seize this day
as a chance for a new beginning. Wake up! It doesn’t have to be like this,

11. The Seeker

What’s the point to this if we cancel out the reason for
hope? What’s the point to this if we trust ourselves to make us whole?
There is only one answer, there is only one You, to fix this disaster, to
fill us with Truth. We hide behind so much pride when all You want is us
to be new, like never before I’m asking You, change my heart for good.

12. Motives

What have you done, think you deserve anything and everything?
That’s not how it is, we are the ones who justify everything by the deeds
we possess, adding up righteousness. When they are all ashes, they will
never make us blameless. We are guilty for the crimes we commit and keep
repeating. We cover them up with a front. When will we realize we are the
source of chaos? Our works are rags turned into ashes. The good we have
done does not reach salvation. Our motives reveal death, living forever is
a gift. Simplicity has left confusion, an image of what good means has
been tainted with our disease. Reaching for that image will slowly kill.
Corrupts, to destroy everything at will. You came to us to prove Your
splendor. We try alone and fall into destruction. Our efforts are
meaningless, we can’t save ourselves. We will fail, our attempts are void.
It’s not what we have done but everything You have done for us. What You
have done for us. We can’t save ourselves, we need Your help. You can save
us, You will never fail, You are the one to make things right despite the
cover up that we are fine. Our works are rags turned into ashes. It’s not

I want to get this out of the way, You know where I stand, I’ve
been hanging by a thread. I’ve been bruised, in return I put You to death,
I’m a mess and You see me for who I am. This has gone on for far too long.
Shifting blame to others instead of myself, I know I have gone wrong.
Frustration has put me towards the end of the rope. Deny myself to make
You first is harder than everything. Promise me Your word, if I forfeit
will You lift me up? Promise me Your cure if I confess will I be made new?
