2. My Solitude

Repress yourself.

3. Godless

I follow a trail whilst blinded, but I was the one that chose to sever my eyes.
Cut them from the sockets, I walk a path of ignorance.
Godless, pathless, I choose derail over worship.
I choose to rid myself of guidance from a higher power.
I choose to rid myself of God and her oppressive nature.

I saw the face of God one day, I asked it why it made me feel this way.

But now I'm stricken with this endless burden, hidden faces surround my existence.
Invisible faces such as God and depression, I am Job from the passage of
Ketuvim.
I'm an agnostic, question my faith again.
You left me self-hating.

I can feel the cold wind blow me sideways, knocking me off my tracks again.
I am a high force made disaster, part of the program.

I'm not a part of the plan, I'm not a part of the program.
I don't believe that faith should be repaid with nothing more than depression.

Where are the empathetic?
We all mourn but never espouse.
Are visions of injustice to be seen but never questioned?
Is society accepting of tired social constructs?
As though culture is what's moral, and what's moral is not obvious?
Is humanity meant to be understood at first glances?
Or are we to debate the nature of the overtly basic?

Institutions of pure hatred are protected by the guise of holiness.
Hiding in the shadows of ancient law, cradling the death of human nature.

Overbearing circumstances have laid the path beyond.
Hoping that the rain may set their woeful souls free.
The bloated God now casts its reigns on apathy.
