1. King Of Terror
So sad the story like a dream
Millions of voices suddenly turned to steam
The final battle has begun
A wanton war that won't be won
Mothers clutch their wailing child
The fig tree burns; their tiny cries can't be calmed
Raining fire from the sky
Arrows that hold the power of the sun
Like ants they scramble for their homes
The fragile walls cannot keep out the storm
Raging waters wash all hope away
All can hear a sound
Like oceans crashing down
Whenever the wind blows for 7 years
Nothing can grow, everything dies
Littering roads with still glowing bones
Find one, you'd better leave it alone
Great cities fall one by one
All Leaders call "Johnny get your gun"!
The little man takes the world stage
Still denying his deployment of the rage
The Snake snorts, spouting lies
The Eagle descends and plucks out his eyes
Overnight the world is changed
A viscous vengeance in the false prophets name
Fires light the sky
For all to see
One thousand years of peace
A naive fantasy
Radioactive the seven seas
Poison will flow, and ebb with the tide
Disrupted food chains all that is needed for life to survive
Gone in the blink of an eye
The King of Terror... the Anti-Christ
We must destroy him...join the fight
His hand 200 million strong
Descends upon you. Join the fight
Send the children... your tender young
Sacrifice them...join the fight
200 million, marching...join the fight
Women, children, crying...join the fight
Hopeless Heroes, dying...join the fight
The snake is snorting, lying...join the fight
[W.W.IV has started. Enter the political beast!
Detective Anthony Dam has the prisoner out of jail on probation and is watching him closely.
He wants the prisoner to meet with the leaders of the plot to try to get them
to stop their plan.]
2. March Into Hell
Now the eagle flies to aid her fallen sister
Fear and anger growing around the world
Blinded, the false prophet still rings his bell
Signaling his soldiers to march into hell
We've learned to live in pain and fear
We know the end is very near
Never ask for whom the bell is tolling
Never ask me, don't ask me
Never ask for whom the bell is tolling
It tolls for thee
It tolls for thee!
Now the story is getting old
It's all they talk about on TV
It's nearly over and then we're told
Another twenty dead, another three
The fragile hope is history
Talks of peace turn to words of war
The skies are filled with birds of prey
That devour any hope for peace today
Fight or flight
Wrong or right
Day and night
This is our daily plight
Never ask for whom the bell is tolling
Don't ask, don't ask me
Never ask for whom the bell is tolling
It tolls for thee
It tolls for thee!
[Detective Anthony Dam is alone in his apartment and drinking heavily.
Although he does not really believe in God, in desperation he is asking God for help.]
3. So Help Me God
I ask forgiveness
I know I've lived in shame
Sometimes I have to wonder
Do you even know my name?
I'm sure it's no surprise to you
There are no heathens in foxholes
But what I want to ask you now
Is coming from my soul
I always kept a picture of you
I haven't looked at it for years
Now I'm reaching out to you
Through my solemn tears
So help me god, I need you now
Don't turn away from me
I swear to you, I shall believe
from this day on
I'm living all alone now
I thought I would be fine
No one at night, to hold me tight
So I don't lose my mind
Now I'm reaching out to you
Through my drunken tears
So help me god, I need you now
Don't turn away from me
I swear to you, I shall believe
From this day on
So help me god
Believe me now
So help me God
I need you now
[The prisoner goes to meet with the so-called "leaders".
Detective Dam follows unseen but is shocked at what he observes.
The prisoner disappears and is nowhere to be found for days.]
4. Liquid Lightning
I trailed him under cover of night
Down a dark and dusty road, out of sight
He disappeared completely right before my eyes
There beneath the pale moonlight
A flash of burning color
A fire in the trees
A sickening vibration
Brought me to my knees
A frozen fire
Burned my eyes
Am I dreaming, is it real?
Liquid lightning
Cracked the skies
Have I lost my mind?
I had no drink or smoke
My mind was crystal clear
I can't explain
How did he disappear?
My thoughts were going in and out
I barely made it home
I can't forget the fear I felt
Frozen in my bones
I thought I saw him vanishing
Into a metallic cloud
It hovered right above me
But it didn't make a sound
A Frozen fire
Burned my eyes
Am I dreaming?
Liquid lightning cracked the skies
Have I lost my mind?
A Frozen fire
Burned my eyes
Am I dreaming?
Liquid lightning cracked the skies
A Frozen fire
Burned my eyes
Am I dreaming?
Liquid lightning cracked the skies
Have I lost my mind?
[The prisoner returns with a crazy story. He tells the detective that
there are 6 other angels of death and that his captors were not of this world.
There is to be a great reckoning. He and the other six have been instructed to carry out the "plan" very soon.]
5. The Enemies Of God
[Spoken:]
Where have you been? What happened out there that night?
I was taken.....
Taken?
What do you mean, taken?
I was paralyzed
I could not speak
But only listen
I was not alone
There were six others
Assigned to the mission
We were not bound but
We could not move
While they spoke
Don't look at me that way
This is not a joke
Their eyes were black, a soul they lack
I can't go back, I must complete my task
Don't look at me that way
Their eyes were black, a soul they lack
I can't go back again
They're not from this world
They're from far away
I know it sounds crazy
The other six are poised to strike
Any day now
Trust me when I say
Our days are numbered
My eyes rolled back, my mind went blank
I woke in a tank, they stood above me
They stood above me
They told me the plan
They have for man
We must prepare for a great reckoning
The meek they shall inherit
What is left after the storm
The worst you can imagine
Soon will be the norm
The rising, raging water
The melting of the earth
Will bring us all to the feet
Of the only one of worth
The enemies of god are in the wind
The enemies of god are all who've sinned
So why were we created
If no hope does exist
Day to day in turmoil
We cannot fill their wish
Can we all be merely fodder?
Some great cosmic mistake
There has to be an answer
A different road to take
[The detective finds much of the crazy story is related to prophecies in the bible.
He is hearing strange voices in his head. They are telling him to go back to the field where he first encountered them.]
6. Revelation
Something is familiar about this crazy story
Where have I heard of this plot before?
Something I read somewhere or a film I've seen
Why is there always darkness at my door?
There's a shadow hanging over me
I hear voices in my head
Revelation, of prophecy!
Is this the end?
Devastation! A tragedy!
Is this the end?
As I search through every library
Desperately looking for an answer
Is my past catching up with me
I can almost see the pages turning faster
What are these voices trying to tell me?
"You will go back to field where you first encountered us. We have something for you"
I think this is what I'm looking for
This old book so revered by man
Revelation, of prophecy?
Is this the end?
Devastation! A tragedy?
Is this the end?
I think this is what I'm looking for
This ancient book revered by man
Revelation, of prophecy?
Is this the end?
Devastation! A tragedy?
Is this the end?
Dark! The only part that troubles me
Fear! What stands out in my mind
Loss! According to this prophecy
Pain! There's no hope for mankind
I think this is what I'm looking for
This old book so revered by man
Revelation, of prophecy?
Is this the end?
Devastation! A tragedy?
This is the end!
[The detective goes back to the field where he saw the strange occurrence.
He is taken this time. The captors speak to him.
While he is with the captors, the plot is carried out and all life on the earth is destroyed.
He is the only survivor.]
7. Hell On Earth
Can you hear the sound of Bazuzu in victory dance?
I tell you none of this is happening by chance
We gave you mountains, rivers and streams
We gave you woman that she may fulfill your dreams
Gave you the elements so you'd find fossil fuel
Wildlife companions but to them you have been cruel
We are not pleased with you!
Now your reign here is through!
Gave you free will with which to do as you may please
Gave you commandments but you did not follow these
Your whole world hangs at the end of the rope
We were amused when you thought you had a new hope
We gave you the choice of good or evil now and then
They both exist but only in the hearts of men
Our 7 angels will fulfill your prophecies
Destroy the world below and everything that breathes
(spoken)
Now...
Bowl 1 is poured out on the land
Bowl 2 is poured out on the sea.
Bowl 3 is poured out on the rivers
Bowl 4 on the sun
Bowl 5 is poured out over the throne of the beast
Bowl 6 over the Euphrates, the kingdom of the beast on earth
Bowl 7 is poured out into the air and the cities of the nations collapsed
...It is done!
[Detective Anthony Dam is prepared for his final destination. He is told the truth and the reasons for everything. He is the sole survivor and the only living carrier of the human DNA. He will be placed in a cleared spot back on Earth, in a garden, in order for human life to flourish again.
The only thing he will remember is his name and that he was placed there by his creator, a superior being. He is wearing the remnants of a shirt with his name embroidered; "A. Dam" on the pocket.
The captors refer to him as "Adam". Before being placed on the surface, some DNA is taken from one of his ribs in order to create for him a female companion.]
8. Genisis
Long ago our visits were recorded on great stones
As man became more sinister he was best left alone
Those in power hid the truth though some had learned first hand
We are the real creators of what lived upon this land
For centuries your people searched for the meaning of life
Believed in many different stories
That might help them in their strife
Now for you the truth will no longer be concealed
Now the time has come for you when all will be revealed
So kneel!
We are the lords; we're your creators
Place no other before us
Kneel Down, we're your creators
Place no other before us
Who are you really and why am I here?
Way down below us, what's that blue sphere?
Is that the earth, why am I bound?
One hundred thousand miles above ground?
It's all too hard to grasp,
I'm trying to believe you
I suppose that you
Made the dinosaurs too?
"No, that was somebody else"
What about the jungle animals
All the wildlife, cats and dogs?
"Some of our finest work"
"Now you shall learn the truth"
You were but hosts for the DNA
This precious code must not fade away
We made your kind to keep it alive
Now only you can ensure that it survives
We are the lords; we're your creators
Place no other before us
Kneel Down, we're your creators
Place no other before us
We are the lords; we're your creators
We made your world now we took it away
Kneel Down, we're your creators
Go now 'Adam', make your life you are our last recruit
Just be sure you don't partake of the forbidden fruit!
.....Why was I planted here?
