1. Into Timeless Realms
[Music is by Tougas/Münzner, lyrics are by Tougas]
"(...) In accordance to the Crimson Concordat, potential galactic civil conflicts would "no longer be resolved in the barbaric ways of old". It all depends on what your definition of barbarism is, however. Have you ever seen someone getting his entire skin envelope peeled off after being exposed to G-Force currents on the race tracks? Have you ever seen a former wingman falling off the rails to his death while the horrified screams of his wife and children in the grandstands are drowned out by the cheering and laughter of a million spectators thirsty for blood and violence? My military background and mastery of G-Force travelling was the reason they hand-picked me for the race, but truth is, they needed a scapegoat. On that day, I represented the interests of my people and became a legend, a hero. Forever to be remembered for a victory that would affect the fate of a trillion souls. This is what had been said to me and to countless others. The slow realization that I was but a mere puppet came later, while diplomats reaped the benefits and used this victory to justify their greed. This isn't a sport. It's war, and it's no wonder humanity is hated. All was for naught. The controversy surrounding my departure from the circuit was justified, but perhaps this will help you understand why I did so in the first place."
[Xel'teras Errod, on his victory during the 1989 Grand Prix, Sol archives, 2001.]
In the distance, floating city lights paint the horizon
Metal machines race towards infinity in unison
In their wake, serpentine trails of fire radiate
Exceeding supersonic velocity, end of the line.
Bound for glory, fatal quest for exultation
Only the bold will prevail
Interstellar travellers hammer away
For the race has just begun
Hovering superstructures rise through the clouds solemnly
Anti-Gravitational pathways lead them to triumph
Smoldering remains fill the labyrinthine city streets
Challengers from unknown lands race to the death on burning wheels
Speeding phantoms drift into the Stygian twilight
Blazing towards victory
Reaching out to the heavens in exaltation
We arise and fulfill our destiny
"Onward we ride into the setting sun
Standing proud and tall, forever daring
Our legacy echoes through the halls of time
Far beyond the realms of eternity!"

2. Cyclopean Force
[Music: Münzner/Tougas, lyrics: Tougas]
"Before the Crimson Concordat was signed, Cyclonus was assigned to our unit in 1985 at the last minute to fight off the Torruus in the Sol System. He just had seen Torruus capital ships glass his entire homeworld in an instant when they invaded. Fortunately for him, mutated humans from outer colonies were still welcome to enlist in the inner system's fleet. The one-eyed bastard was blind with rage, but he was an outmatched tactician. During the battle of Mimas, he hijacked a Torruus IC-class Flagship by himself via a malfunctioning hangar-bay gate and destroyed 10 battlecruisers and 34 C-Grade interceptors. A decisive battle that won us the war thanks to his action. Shortly after our victory, the Concordat was signed. It drove Cyclonus mad. He did not want peace. His thirst for revenge was never quenched so he deserted and fell off the grid while I became a race pilot in later years. During my time in the circuit, I heard from various sources that he became the sector's most vicious mercenary. He is responsible for the destruction of the entire Vau solar system, amongst others. Surely you understand now why I was skeptical at first when the council asked him to join the fleet again. Not only that but they had the nerve to ask me to re-enlist out of retirement. Shortly after, they assigned me as his second in command in CF-1 during the second Pryarus emergence of 1999. How could a war-hero-turned murderous mercenary protect us and lead us to defend Helon IV, let alone Earth? In the end, he proved us all wrong. It's as if he had completely changed over-night. Sure, big money was involved, but it had to be more than that due to the high-risk nature of the mission. Was it redemption? Personal Glory? Inner Peace? I wish I could ask him today, because none of us, not even Armon'Sul himself, would be alive today without him".
[Xel'teras Errod, on Cyclonus' life and military service, Sol archives, 2001.]

[Solo 2: Münzner]
Beckoned by the winds of war
I've come to collect my bounty
Ruthless battle-mech mercenary
Blazing forth from the outer rims
My name is known throughout the galaxy
I am the last ones of my kind
Solar systems stand or fall by my will
Depending on who pays the high price
Contract of war signed in Torruus blood
The Cyclopean Force is called down
So far from home I've travelled
To reclaim what is mine
High above the spirits soar
Where triumph awaits me
Legions from sector Xeros
descend on the megapolis
Standing on the edge of forever
To defend the last inner colony
The time has come to face my fate
Far away, the city calls for me
Shape-shifting titans in omega phalanx
Collide under the fiery horizon
No turning back – my mind is set
Fulfill the mission, no matter the cost
So far from home I've travelled
To reclaim what is mine
High above the spirits soar
Where triumph awaits me
[Solo 3 (Harmony): Tougas/Münzner/Pitts]

3. Unyielding
[Music: Tougas/Münzner, lyrics: Tougas]
"We stood and watched as the great rift opened the burning heavens and archangels of iron descended from myriad stars to smite us.
We stood and watched as once triumphant realms fell into nothingness and the shadows of forgotten monuments enshrouded us in despair.
But in the hour of our final judgment came the righteous one with his undying steel, he who rode the north winds under the guidance of the twin suns.
In the hour of our salvation he came aboard a golden ship, sailing from shores unknown.
He who rode with the Armonian guard at his helm, crossed the streams of time."
[Excerpt from "Encyclopediae Aethemonium", chapter IX, War of the first Emergence, 1399 A.D. Written by Enel Sul'Gana, Elder Historian and Archivist.]
[Armon'Sul:]
"Sitting atop towering spires, the gods tremble
Impotent as they witness our might
From the crumbling ruins of our kingdom, we rise anew
Across the realms, the clarion call is heard again!"
[Armonian Guard:]
"(Let) our shields glow in the light of hyperborean stars as we bathe in the crimson wine of battle!"
"Grant us the strength and valor to carry on
Take hold of the flame that burns within
Raise your swords and hail the blazing dawn
Fearless in our hearts, forever Unyielding"
[Armonian Guard:]
"Consecrated in the crystalline waters of Mimas
(let our) prismatic blades sever the shackles of iniquity
Armored in alloys forged from moonfires
We stand united under the banners of Armon'Sul"
[Armonian Guard:]
"Bestowed with iron will, the path before us is clear"
[Armon'Sul:]
"Bear the mark of anointed steel, take your fate within your hands!"
"Grant us the strength and valor to carry on
Take hold of the flame that burns within
Raise your swords and hail the blazing dawn
Fearless in our hearts, forever Unyielding"
[Sul'Gana:]
"And here, they stood at the crest of destiny
From the mountains to the seas, their light shone one last time"
[Armon'Sul:]
"There can never be victory without sacrifice.
(You must) find the power within yourselves.
Stand up and fight!"
[Solo 1: Tougas]
[Solo 2: Münzner]
[Solo 3: Tougas]
[Solo 4: Münzner]
[Solo 5 (Harmony): Tougas/Münzner]
[Sul'Gana:]
"The price we pay for the sins of our fathers
is the blood of our kin staining our once mighty halls
Forget not those who stood their ground on that day
In time, even death may die, but their legend lives on…"
"Grant us the strength and valor to carry on
Take hold of the flame that burns within
Raise your swords and hail the blazing dawn
Fearless in our hearts, forever Unyielding"
4. Blood Brothers (The Oath)
[Music: Münzner, lyrics: Sanson/Münzner]
"(...) Alongside him came the templars of the twin suns ; blood brothers from the Hyperborean planes of existence.
With sword in hand, the Armonian Guard stood proud as the crescent horn resounded through the hills with fervor.
The extinguishing darkness from beyond was vanquished by the righteous light of the gleaming ones as they fulfilled their oath.
And as we celebrated the eminence of our new hegemony, our saviors vanished, leaving behind to us their legacy, wisdom and teachings."
[Excerpt from "Encyclopediae Aethemonium", chapter IX, War of the first Emergence, 1399 A.D. Written by Enel Sul'Gana, Elder Historian and Archivist.]
[Solo 1 (harmony): Tougas/Münzner]
[Armonian Guard:]
We were born to survive
We are soldiers of light
We will never give up our lives
Surrounded by evil veiling the soul
We always find a way out
No matter if we're losing now
The strength is contained within our blood
Blood brothers
You have the force to change this world
"Make them believe!"
Blood brothers
You have the courage to make a stand
Blood brothers
We believe in this fight
Full of glory and might
Blood brothers need to arise
Guided by honor, fearless we march
We always find a way out
No matter if we're losing now
The strength is contained within our blood"
Blood brothers
You have the force to change this world
"Make them believe!"
Blood brothers
You have the courage to make a stand
Blood brothers

5. Dreaming Of Cimmerian Shadows
[Music: Münzner, lyrics: Tougas]
"Dream….
Hearkening to the distant chiming of cathedral bells, shadowy apparitions danced around me as I ventured forth into the vastlands. Guided by the voices from beyond, the slumbering ancient gods of olde spoke to me in their mystifying tongues, with malignant exuberance.
Dream...
Through obscured dreams of saturnine landscapes of morbid splendor, I have beheld the shadows of their magnificence darken the stars and have witnessed the birth and death of a thousand universes. Sha'lakh zhol! It was under the dimming light of the twin moons, that the vestigial ruins of my lost heritage rose before me. Alas, my quest is over. From beneath the soil, the whispers of my slumbering ancestors beckoned me. Through their dreams, I see the kingdom that awaits me. Am I awake, or is this just a dream?
Dream…"

6. Horizonless
[Music: Tougas, lyrics: Tougas/Sanson]
"Un matin nous partons, le cerveau plein de flamme,
Le coeur gros de rancune et de désirs amers,
Et nous allons, suivant le rythme de la lame,
Berçant notre infini sur le fini des mers:
Les uns, joyeux de fuir une patrie infâme ;
D'autres, l'horreur de leurs berceaux, et quelques-uns,
Astrologues noyés dans les yeux d'une femme,
La Circé tyrannique aux dangereux parfums.
Pour n'être pas changés en bêtes, ils s'enivrent
D'espace et de lumière et de cieux embrasés ;
La glace qui les mord, les soleils qui les cuivrent
Effacent lentement la marque des baisers"
[C.B.]
[Solo 1: Tougas]
[Solo 2 (Harmony): Tougas/Münzner]
Long ago, we left our homeland
In search of our destiny
In solemn silence we gaze upon the dawn
Unfaltering, we fulfill our oath
Far away from golden shores
North winds carry our names
Under crystal skies, we sail on (and on)
Over horizonless seas
From above distant white mountains
We have heard the heavens weep
For we sail towards our last sunrise
Into glory ride, the spirits will lead us
Far away from golden shores
North winds carry our names
Under crystal skies, we sail on (and on)
Over horizonless seas
Are we facing the end?
Is this nightmare worth all the tears and the blood?
The mystery is gone by the time when we said good-bye
And we left our lives behind
[Solo 3: Tougas]
Far away from golden shores
North winds carry our names
Under crystal skies, we sail on (and on)
Over horizonless seas
[Ending Solo: Münzner]
7. Under Crimson Moonlight
[Music and lyrics are by Münzner/Tougas]
"What are gods to man? Shepherds watching over their flock, shielding us from the wolves of the night? Nothing but mere delusions created by beguiled men arrogantly claiming to be their disciples. Hidden in the darkness, the gods are but a collective consciousness, unseen and untouched, their omniscience absolute.
They are the beginning and the end of existence. They don't have to want to. They don't have to think about it. They just are. I have seen them in my visions, slumbering in the deepest depths of cosmic darkness beyond the stars themselves. I have seen them awaken in their darkened domains, their cries shattering the stars and planets alike. Heed my words or all will perish under the scythes of their divine wrath!"
[Ghar Sul'Emun, moments before his execution, 1167 A.D (68 years after the discovery) Excerpt taken from "Encyclopediae Aethemonium".]
The legend of the elders, an ancient prophecy
Foretells a future vision, the final cataclysm
Eternities have passed by, we saw the last star fall
Bells chime the last rites of uncreation
Riding on solar storms through cosmic endlessness
Synthetical intelligence created to evoke the wrath of the gods
Legions of steel marching on through the night
Cosmic rays of high energy blaze the sky
Stellar raiders emerge from the depths of infinity
Time and space merge on the battlefield
Under crimson moonlight
Dark comets fill the night sky, burning with astral fire
Divine creations bring the fall of time
Stardust and asteroid fields, infinite dimensions
The dawn of time, the end of days, a boundless sea of infinite realities
Legions of steel marching on through the night
Cosmic rays of high energy blaze the sky
Stellar raiders emerge from the depths of infinity
Time and space merge on the battlefield
Under crimson moonlight

8. Necromantic Worship
[Music: Münzner, lyrics: Tougas]
"Dream…
I opened the gates of the Exxul with haste and marveled at the jewels of the Xixmloprtech as they shimmered in the penetrating starlight.Grasping the sword of Shtligudnra, I wept as the ghastly faces of those who perished at the end of its blade flashed before my eyes. As I solemnly stood alone amongst the silent tombs, I inhaled the ancestral miasma from Azhok's chalice and became entranced as the memories of my ancestors became mine.
Dream...
Here lie the ruins of the Kingdom of Shtligudnra and its long lost legacy of darkness. By the powers of Iirzhol bestowed upon me by my forefathers, what once was, shall be again. Sh'tlozhk'akta! We shall be the harbingers of their return. Our progeny shall sing to the stars and the voices of the resurrected dead shall echo through the coalescing void! Hear us hail the return of the Pryarus!
Dream... no more! Sha'lakh zhol!"

Awakening to the twin moon's eclipse
Horrors unseen lurk in the shadows
Cimmerian towers of frozen dusk
Stand tall amidst the nocturnal stillness
Spectral stronghold, a fearful vision
Shades of darkness descend upon the land
Hear the funeral choirs mourn
The coming of the end
Solemn elegies sung
In ancient tongues unknown
Hear the howling dead hail
The coming of a new reign
Tenebrous hordes are gathering
The ritual is complete
Entranced wraiths dance to sepulchral hymns
Deep within once silent candlelit halls
Resurrection – begin the sacrament
Necromancy – on unhallowed grounds
Hear the funeral choirs mourn
The coming of the end
Solemn elegies sung
In ancient tongues unknown
Hear the howling dead hail
The coming of a new reign
Tenebrous hordes are gathering
The ritual is complete

"Xel'terras, my brother. By the time this transmission reaches you, I will most likely be dead. The Pryarus' push through the Raulm system and Helon IV's defenses has been much more seamless and brutal than what the initial reports makes it out to be. Intel says their main target is the planet's capital, Onyx Prime. I needed to message you personally to let you to know that and to remember that . Do not let this affect your mission. You must place your trust in yourself and Cyclonus. I know about your issues with him but he is our last hope and our most brilliant tactician. Earth must be warned. The Pryarus are guarding all the hyperspace portals throughout the galaxy and the HGK transmitter in the city core is our only means of long-range communication. We will create a diversion and attack their fleet head-on, so the Cyclopean Force may take the city back and transmit a distress signal. Please do not make our deaths meaningless. May Armon'Sul watch over you.
End transmission
Spectral beams of energy ignite the obsidian skyline
Flagships from the Orion belt burn through the stratosphere
Transluminic thrusters shimmer through impenetrable darkness
G-diffusers burning bright, they charge into the fray
In the midst of amaranthine twilight
Resound the trumpets of reprisal
Steel angels fly high on winds of victory
Transcending to astral realms in eternal glory
Gleaming-white specters spreading their wings
At one among celestial spirits for evermore
Planetary interceptors merge into cryptic formations
Gliding through the air, they obey the war command
Whirlwinds of psychic thunder follow in their wake
Wielders of omnipotent might – transmundane synergy
In the dead of everlasting night
Bear witness to our triumphant ascent
Steel angels fly high on winds of victory
Transcending to astral realms in eternal glory
Gleaming-white specters spreading their wings
At one among celestial spirits for evermore

10. Beyond The Gates Of Salvation
[Music: Münzner, lyrics: Münzner/Tougas]
"(...) Despite our grief, we looked up to the stars with a shimmering hope, for one day the mantle of Armon'Sul would be passed on again.
When the day comes and the darkness returns, our shields will glow in the light of the twin suns and the hammer of the gods will shatter on them.
Should our flame be extinguished by the shadows of the night once more, we will die upon our feet and never yield."
And we will hail his return with swords held high towards the cerulean skies (...)"
[Excerpt taken from "Encyclopediae Aethemonium", chapter IX, War of the first Emergence, 1399 A.D. Written by Enel Sul'Gana, Elder Historian and Archivist.]
"(...) I, for one, never believed in these foolish legends, but 2 years ago when I saw him with my own eyes, I was proved wrong. After we were reluctantly let go from the brig by the council following the Helon IV fiasco, Cyclonus and I were reinstated. The Cyclopean Force was reassigned to be led by Armon'Sul for a counter-offensive operation on earth and we both witnessed first hand why legends were made out of this character. I still don't know if it was actually *him* or someone else who took upon his title, but the armor and weapons he and his men wielded were certainly not man-made. They looked ancient and completely alien to us.
He couldn't be a fake. His sword for example, cut through Pryarus energy shields better than our strongest firearms and plasma blades ever did. Who is he truly? Where did he acquire such weapons and skill? The rest that followed is just a blur. Hundreds of thousands died from both sides, with Armon'Sul presumably responsible for dispatching half of the enemy infantry by himself judging from how their bodies were disassembled. The Sol system was safe yet again. Shortly after, he was never seen again, and Cyclonus was nowhere to be found – his body was never recovered nor do we have any proof that he's alive. I still don't know how to process all of this and I don't know what will happen next. We may have won the battle, but we have not won the war. We will drive the Pryarus out of our homes, solar system after solar system, no matter the cost.

[Solo 1 (Harmony): Tougas/Münzner/Pitts]
On wings of eagles I'm riding the storm
Across the valleys of despair
Born into the darkness, a black raven's heart
Ethereal starlight guides my path
Alone I stand, an army of one
My unbroken spirit prevails
My sword is forged from the blood of my enemies
No one can challenge my will, I own my destiny
Through raging battles and furious winds
Through darkest nights I heed the call
Defeating legions and ruling the ruins
A warrior's pride will never fall
I hold the key to unlock my dreams
No one will stand in my way
Forevermore will the legends remember my name
Through the twilight of time
Far beyond the gates of salvation
Burns a flame to light up the night
Glorious, I carry the torch to the end of all days
Onward I ride on wings of the destiny
