2. All Time Low
On the deserted shore of a distant sea
a man shouts to the sky.
His speech arcane, his eyes grave and feral.
What has brought him here on such a pale morning?
These shores are no place for aimless wandering as
the piles of bleached bones can attest.
Why does he clamor relentlessly to an empty sky?
Straining to be heard over the crashing of waves.
In the shadows of crumbling structures just past the shore
where his rants are entirely ignored, is there any life? Any still breath?
Any blank eyes fixed upon his every move?
As a vile wind starts to whip its way along the stale lifeless coast;
the man falls to his trembling knees. His mouth silenced - paralyzed by agony.
Will he survive the horrid night?
As night begins to blanket the remains of this empty day
The man writhes in the damp sand, succumbing to an unrelenting misery.
Night has returned to transform the sky into a still obsidian ocean.
Sight has been vanquished to the grasp of absolute nightfall.
The man knows that these are his final hours.
The man knows that this is his all time low.
All time low.
3. 2000 Years
Lies, lies, lies, lies.
Cast down from the disgusting tongues
of men obsessed with the fiction
printed on the pages of an archaic book;
one prescribed to many as the answer, the cure.
Wake from the fog of 2000 years
Rise above the tide of submission
Wake from the fog of puritan ideals
Rise above the gutless herd mentality
that plagues, that corrupts, that perverts,
that demoralizes all.
The driving force behind all evangelism
is the lurid pursuit of a monetary gain.
Instilling a fear of god
secures wealth for the men of god.
Wake from the fog of 2000 years
Rise above the tide of submission
Wake from the fog of puritan ideals
Rise above the gutless herd mentality
that plagues, that corrupts, that perverts,
that demoralizes all.
I will always be the wolf.
The free-thinker.
The tormentor of the herd.
I WILL NEVER PRAY FOR ANYTHING.
NOT FOR LIFE, NOT FOR DEATH.
NOT FOR GOD, NOT FOR COUNTRY.
NOT FOR PEACE, NOT FOR WAR.
I WILL NEVER PRAY.
4. Hallucinatorium
A ferocious wind is cleansing all minds tonight.
Its teeth a rain of unending spears
piercing every thought of malice
of ill will
of spite.
Let the eyes fall blind
To the dust of time
As it rages from zenith to nadir.
Let the mouth fall silent
and fill to the lips
with the grinding sand
of a destroyed culture's past.
In the hallucinatorium
A ferocious wind
Is cleansing all minds
tonight.
5. Epicenter
I have been crawling for countless days now.
Where has the world gone?
Days are becoming grim years
And grim years are becoming aeons of rot.
As I rest my face in my filthy hands
lassitude cripples my tired frame.
This long road is coming to an end.
I am returning to the oldest place I know
A swamp at the far end of the earth,
choked with the vilest of all things.
The perfect place to die.
The stench of humility will be all that welcomes me
back into the mire of this fetid hellhole.
I am tired of total failure.
I am afraid of a dismal future
This swamp
will reduce
my life
to carrion.
This is
the epicenter
of my
death.
6. The Reclamation
The lungs of this great Earth have filled with humanity's ashes.
A rebellious flame has scorched the body clean.
A ravaged land, free from the teeth of the human machine machine has given up all secrets.
The reclamation can now begin.
Rise...from the Earth. Once again claim what is yours.
This new dawn is now the first dawn.
This new day is now the first day.
The scent of human history has all but been erased, forever.
A smoldering memory that only the Earth will remember.
The storm clears.
The light returns.
Illuminating
A charred wasteland.
Silence.
A world free from
The clutches
Of scathing human furor.
The wretched curse
Has been lifted
Allowing
a return to times long passed.
The final
Resting place
Of civilization
Lies under
Unfathomable
Depths of ash.
7. Prognosticate
[Instrumental]
8. Sundown
Mountains shield me
For I possess the arsonist's flame.
The thrill of watching this valley burn
Would be the greatest escape.
Mountains shield me
For I am one cruelly inclined
To set sky and earth ablaze
With no remorse and no regrets.
The flames will rise to great heights.
The flames will rise to dethrone the light.
I will be safe at sundown.
I will be safe at sundown.
