1. Captivating Solitude
I have been pierced by a deadly thorn
There is no way to undo what's done
My disease, my infection
I am so impure
My release, my redemption
Is there a cure
I'm falling from the righteous path
Hollow silence follows these days
In silence enduring the pain
Protecting my soreness from daylight
Alleviate this loneliness, contaminate this fright
I hope for a better tomorrow
Vague memories painful enough
To wish they had never been
They're still haunting me
Shivering with horror, awaiting tomorrow
Desperately searching for a cure
Each drop of life absorbed by this void
In silence enduring the pain...
2. Mannefall
Ve deg!
Du med uren hensikt
Ve deg!
Du med onde baktanker
Fristelser vil hjemsøke og lede deg mot dypet
Du vil bukke under
Vrede vil også ramme deg
På nytt vil vi se mannefall
Jammer og gråt, jammer og gråt
På vei mot din avgrunn
Du innså det for sent
På nytt vi vil se mannefall
Jammer og gråt
Trengsler forestår for prøvede sinn
Mellom sarte skrik hviskes det om frihet
Adelsmann og kremmer, borger og trell
En etter en faller de fra
Tafate toker
Forgiftet av samfunnets trylledrikk
Usikre og lammet
Ingen lindrig for svake sjeler
Så, ve deg!
Du med ond agenda
Ve deg!
Dy som bringer hat
Ja, ve deg!
Du med skitne motiver
Ve deg!
Og din usle akt
Trengsler forestår for prøvede sinn
Mellom sarte skrik hviskes det om frihet
Ja for de jamrer og bærer seg i sin egen usseldom
Lidelser og kval
De sakte forgår
Ja de kreler og ynker seg i sin egen elendighet
de famler i blinde og mister alt håp
3. Ain't No Lovin'
4. On The Banks Of The Mississippi
On the banks of the Mississippi
An old man sits on his bench
Watching the river's water flow
Smoking cigarettes as time goes by
Reminiscing about the years passed
And his loved ones who've gone old
Now his life is shortened
His better days are gone
Watching the moon in the eventide
In the cold freezing rain
Three destinies in a cruel world
With vague dreams buried by loss
Laying their burdens down
On the banks of the Mississippi
On the banks of the Mississippi
A woman breaks down in tears
Crying for her lost love
Who was consumed by the waves
On a stormy autumn night
Never to be found again
Now her life is without meaning
Now her life is dead
Watching...
On the banks of the Mississippi
An old sailor is drinking his ale
Trying to find peace of mind, trying to ease the pain
Regretting his actions of the past, and all those wasted years
Time spent at bars around the world, miles away from home
Now he longs for someone
But no one is to be found
Watching...
Cast your sorrows to the wind
And stay for a while
Don't let them bring you down
Those sorrows you cannot hide
They're tearing you up inside
Another day will come
When you lay your burdens down
5. Dark Prophets, Black Hearts
Season of the sick
Spreading venom
With their filthy hands
And words of hatred
Dark prophets, black hearts
Leaders without dedication
Crazed by greed
Starvation and downfall
Created the wake
Hearts are hardening
Loss of humanity
Rise to the call
To liberate
This world from
Greed and sickness
And together we'll triumph once again (no compromise)
At the dawn
We declare war
On this world
Arise and build anew
All against all
Take the fight
Crush and destroy
Don't submit
Don't accept it into your life
Heartless men cannot create
A positive change in a world
That is cold
Simply tear it down
Hearts are hardening
Loss of humanity
Rise to the call...
6. Wayakin (The Guardian Spirit Of The Nez Perce)
[Dedicated to the proud Nez Perce nation]
One time the wind blew free and there
was nothing to break the light of the sun
In a past that is now lost forever
There was a time when land was sacred
and the ancient ones were as one with it
A time when only the children of the Great Spirit
were here. To light their fires in these places with no boundaries
When the forests were as thick as the fur of
the winter bearland and a warrior could walk
from horizon to horizon on the backs of the buffalo
And during that time when there were only simple ways,
I saw with my heart the conflicts to come,
and whether it was to be for good or bad,
what was certain was that there would be chance
Wayakin, summon strength and ward us from evil
Wayakin, a spirit with transformative powers
Wayakin, talisman of superhuman forces
Wayakin, the guardian spirit of the Nez Perce
We look to the bear, the owl and the eagle as our brothers
To teach us how to live
They talk to us, we listen
The bear tells us of our strength
The owl of our wisdom
And the eagle of our freedom
It is time for us to remember
7. Circle Of Agony
8. Sombre Fall, Burdened Winter
In the times of my trial
The days slowly moved along
But nothing ever changed
I struggled to maintain what was left
Tried to find some peace of mind
Days filled with nothing
And no hope in sight
Close to losing all ambitions
I could not endure
In a deteriorating situation
Restless sleep
Again and again
I cried out in the name of desperation
Endless nights and shattered expectations
Haunted my day
I poured myself out
Tired of longing
Awaited the sunrise
But life could get no colder
I vanished into obscurity
No means of solace, no sign of liberation
In a hopeless reality
I could not endure
As life grew ever bleaker
Restless sleep...
But as I reflect upon time I realize
I made it through one of my worst afflictions
Carried through when times were hard
Found a meaning in a hopeless situation
Found peace by time
Through a somber fall and burdened winter
With my mind set I resolved the strife
My adversary can no longer hold me down
Because there is still a fire burning
I stand bold and strong
And hope to stay positive and live among dreamers
Experience the value of life through pain
Rise above the depraved
Ever vigilant, poised to rise against
Set sail against the wind
Rather fail, than never try at all
Reach for the stars
