1. Out Of Control
A child in time with a lonely rhyme
Fell apart from the world so you tried to hide
But your soul shone too bright
For the one who just might
Take the Time
Too scared to face what life held for you
So you never really followed through
On what it was that you were expected to
Where to go, you don’t know and you’re all out of sympathy
Running low, maybe so, now all you feel is misery
You’re confined from mankind and now you’ve come unglued
Can you find peace of mind from a stranger that you once knew
Out of control
Don’t know your role
All the pain and strife
Of this game called life
Too many nights now that you’ve been gone
And you sit alone wondering what went wrong
Well to me, it just seemed
That you didn’t care
For so long
You tell yourself it’ll be alright
As you blankly stare at the moonlight
Because you can’t accept
All the actions
That you will incite
Where to go, you don’t know and you’re all out of sympathy
Running low, maybe so, now all you feel is misery
You’re confined from mankind and now you’ve come unglued
Can you find peace of mind from a stranger that you once knew
Out of control
Don’t know your role
All the pain and strife
Of this game called life
Take your stand
Don’t let anyone hold you down
You’re in command
Of this hell-like battle ground
Understand
It doesn’t matter who is right
It’s all been planned
So there is nothing to fight
Out of control
Don’t know your role
All the pain and strife
Of this game called life
2. Tales Of Old
In the woods where the mill doth turn
I learned the sacred spells
I swear my sword to the king of kings
And travel through the trees
A woman’s voice is calling me
She says, “Help me sir, save me please.
I’ve fallen in a hole”
So I came to her aid and saw that she was fine
It was a trick of the forest
A game played on my mind
She turned into her true form
And robbed me of my gold
I said, “Hold there witch! You can’t escape!
I shan’t be made a fool”
These are the tales of old
When warriors killed for gold
The skies turn gray and the rain doth pour
An army of the dead
Has come back to life to seek their revenge
Their bones will soon be here
In the woods where the mill doth turn
Is where this hell began
I pack my goods and cast haste
Let’s get the hell out of here
Answering the call of war
As all men must soon do
Death will surely come for me
But by God not right now
Moonlight is now guiding me
A peaceful, gentle glow
If I follow its good face
Will I find my way home?
These are the tales of old
When warriors killed for gold
Moonlight is now guiding me
A peaceful, gentle glow
If I follow its good face
Will I find my way home?
3. Miles Beyond
You stare at us as we walk the stage
We play our music to feed the rage
The cymbals crash and the strings they squeal
You understand that this band’s for real
We’ve got one this on our brains
And that’s to drive you insane
We run out axes in hand
Straight from Zanica land
Fueled by desire and PBR
We’re out to prove just who we are
Time goes on and things, they change
But true metal flows in our veins
It won’t take long until you know
That this band is the show
Wherever we are, wherever we go
You must come out to the show
Doesn’t matter what the nonbelievers say
Cause we don’t care about them anyway
Crazed lunatics and rabid fans
Now we’re miles beyond any other band
Your head is pounding and your ears bleed
We see we’ve planted our metal seeds
As the bass rumbles and the drums pound
The fakes and wannabes fall to the ground
The show is over and now you see
How dominating we can be
We run out axes in hand
Straight from Zanica land
Fueled by desire and PBR
We’re out to prove just who we are
Times goeson and things, they change
But true metal flows in our veins
It won’t take long until you know
That this band is the show
Wherever we are, wherever we go
You must come out to the show
Doesn’t matter what the nonbelievers say
Cause we don’t care about them anyway
Crazed lunatics and rabid fans
Now we’re miles beyond any other band
4. Take Me Back Home
Set my sights upon a new world’s charm
My vision, it was clouded, saw no reason for alarm
I had made my mind up, now I could not decline
A downward sloping hill led to a place so divine
Felt I was a giant in this strange new land
I began to see my expectations were too grand
Endless faces on a street with no name
I shuffle through the crowd, avoiding their game
Take me back home
Catch me before I stumble
Freed of this cage
Where everyone’s dreams, they crumble
What started out as freedom, soon began to fade
I didn’t have much time so I ended the charade
I realize now that I set the bar too high
Nothing worth my time could be so easily denied
To see a place so cold embraced by vanity
I couldn’t justify the cause and keep my sanity
The signs were obvious. How could I’ve been so blind?
The dream is not over, just a new path I must find
Take me back home
Catch me before I stumble
Freed of this cage
Where everyone’s dreams, they crumble
5. Vlad The Impaler
Vlad Tepes was born in 1431
The Wallachian prince’s second eldest son
He was imprisoned and his father was slain
But his death would not go in vain
At seventeen, he captured the throne
Two months later, defeated, he went home
Eight years later,he took back the crown
Putting his father’s murderer in the ground
Impaler, bringer of death
Torture your victims ‘til their last breath
On stakes of wood, they hang
Waiting for their blood to drain
Impaler, bringer of death
Torture your victims ‘til their last breath
You see the pain in their eyes
And you’ve never felt more alive
You will pay for what you have done to me
I’ll watch you die with pain and agony
You’ll bleed to death on the wooden stake
Then I’ll kill again just to celebrate
Impaler, bringer of death
Torture your victims ‘til their last breath
On stakes of wood they hang
Waiting for their blood to drain
Impaler, bringer of death
Torture your victims ‘til their last breath
You see the pain in their eyes
Praying to God to let them die
6. Still Strong
You’ve fallen from your state of grace
Your beauty has been stripped from your face
A shame to see you now this way
When I still remember your past
So here we are for you right now
We’ll take you far from here
Now it won’t be too long
We’ll make you whole again
To show that you’re still strong
The choices you make don’t seem quite right
But no one ever really puts up a fight
A few flashes in a sea of darkness
But you never give them a chance
So here we are for you right now
Consumed by greed and now you’ve sold your soul
Your dignity lost buried down below
A shame to see you now this way
When I still remember your past
We’ll take you far from here
Now it won’t be too long
We’ll make you whole again
To show that you’re still strong
7. The Spaniard
As a boy cast away by my mother
From the start, I was left alone
Raised by friends and mercenaries
None could tame me save the Spanish guitar
I sailed to Spain to seek my fortune
I wanted to play the songs of the sea
All at once, my pride and my strength were stolen
Chained and beaten. Taken back to Rome
Chains on my wrist, swords placed in my hands
“I order you to fight”, “I’m waiting for you to die”
Coliseum, so majestic and grand
So many deaths all to please one man
Behind that gate, a beast drools for meat
What comes next? A taste of my blade
Or a slide to the side
Thumbs up or thumbs down, the crowd will decide
All I can hear is the sound of the crowd as I think of home
I must try one more time to bring peace back to Rome
I fight for my life, I kill for the crowd
I trust in myself, I’ll die for my God
One more fight day after day
My hell is my skill my heart and my mind
All I hear is the sound of ripping flesh
The crowd cheers me on I’m digging their grave
Behind that gate, a beast drools for meat
What comes next? A taste of my blade
Or a slice to the side
Thumbs up or thumbs down, the crowd will decide
All I can hear is the sound of the crowd as I think of home
I must try one more time to bring peace back to Rome
I fight for my life, I kill for the crowd
I trust in myself, I’ll die for my God
8. Hail To The King
Banished from my guild
Beaten to the bone
I shall have my revenge
It comes to all I’m told
Giant golden idols
Forged by pagan fools
Hail to the king
The angel of death shall come for their souls
Eternity in hell
Hail to the king
Fire! Blood! Vengeance! Terror!
Never-ending forest
Lost in a mystic dream
Mountains stand before me
Dragons take the sheep
The book of the dead was opened
The words in blood pronounced
Hail to the king
An army a thousand miles wide
Stormed the countryside
Hail to the king
Gallop through the dark woods
On my demon horse
Hail to the king
Black as night and faithful she be
My one and only friend
Hail to the king
9. Rock Revolution
Separated, isolated, frustrated
Apprehended, reprimanded, expended
Barricaded, aggravated, dominated
Disrespected, unaffected, resurrected
Freedom to rock
Freedom to shout
Freedom to play
So insanely loud
Free men to bring
This place to the ground
Time’s finally come for revolution
Come on, come on, you better choose your side
We’re marching on through the dead of night
Prepare to fight
Dedicated, motivated, regenerated
Compounded, unbounded, surrounded
Fame fated, complicated, fascinated
Liberated, unexpected, completed
Freedom to rock
Freedom to shout
Freedom to play
So insanely loud
Free men to bring
This place to the ground
Time’s finally come for revolution
Come on, come on, you better choose your side
We’re marching on through the dead of night
Prepare to fight yea!
Time’s finally come for revolution
Come on, come on, you better choose your side
We’re marching on through the dead of night
Prepare to fight
10. Stowaway
1724
In the night I climbed aboard
A ship docked in the ocean’s bay
Paid men for the sea
Unaware of me
I hide below my mind’s decay
If I hadn’t gone
I’d remain a pawn
In the corruption of my home
Morning now has come and
The voyage has begun
As we sail into the unknown
Stowaway, Stowaway
Many nights have past and
I wonder if I’ll last
Can I stay and not be exposed?
The crew, they show no fear
And I feel we’re getting near
The ship heads straight into the coast
The journey now complete
I try to be discrete
As I make my way upon the new land
I look around and see
Endless opportunity
Now I have been dealt a new hand
Stowaway, Stowaway
Stowaway, Stowaway
Stowaway, Stowaway
11. Crazy Horse
Born on the Republic River
In the year 1845
Crazy Horse was a proud warrior
Did all he could to help his tribe survive
The Sioux chiefs agreed
That the white man must be met with force
For them to succeed
They would be led by Crazy Horse
In the past they had welcomed white traders
And permitted the Oregon Trail
But now forts were built on their land
How could their gratitude fail?
He led the attack on Fort Phil Kearny
It was his first claim to fame
Some tribes were still seeking peace
While his love of battle was on full display
The Sioux chiefs agreed
That the white man must be met with force
For them to succeed
They would be led by Crazy Horse
Sitting Bull sent word that white soldiers
Would fight the Sioux to a finish
Crazy Horse took 700 men
To take care of their nemesis
They stopped at Little Big Horn
Where they were met by Custer’s men
Crazy horse foiled Custer’s plans
And he claimed victory once again
The Sioux chiefs agreed
That the white man must be met with force
For them to succeed
They would be led by Crazy Horse
He bested one of the most brilliant
Leaders of the Civil War
They found until there were no white men
Alive at Little Big Horn
12. A Call To Odin
Out from the frozen north we come to conquer all
We will never rest until our enemies fall
Be you Saxon, be you Celt, we don’t care
Whoever’s in our way must beware
No one can stop us, so don’t even try
Those who oppose us will surely die
With our iron swords and our shields
Plundering villages we do as we feel
Whether on foot or on horse
You can’t escape the men called Norse
Our Viking hearts are black and frozen
This is a call, a call to Odin
Our long boats have arrived on your shore
Carrying Nordic warriors, the likes of Thor
Your men will be slaughtered and women will be raped
Your crops will be burned and your gold we will take
We’ll conquer this town as we conquered the last
Our kingdom is large and our power vast
Our Viking seed is all that will stay
To remind you of this horrible day
Whether on foot or on horse
You can’t escape the men called Norse
Our Viking hearts are black and frozen
This is a call, a call to Odin
What makes a man a man?
Is it the sword that he wields in his hand?
Is it fighting the fight of the just and the right?
Or is it conquering, pillaging, and murdering in the night?
All of these things I have done
For I answered the call of Odin
My sword has killed many a man
Whether they bargained, fought, or ran
I followed the code to fight and to conquer
I invaded and destroyed every foreign shore
I took until there was no more
If I’m wrong,
My soul will burn
But if I am right,
I want my turn
I want what is owed to me
At the end of time
I want my resting-place
You owe it to me, it’s mine
Odin, I beseech you
Let me walk into the Halls of Valhalla
Whether on foot or on horse
You can’t escape the men called Norse
Out Viking hearts are black and frozen
This is a call, a call to Odin
