1. Obeisance

I prostrate myself before the Parabrahman,
the Supreme One, and to all its manifestations
I bow with reverence to the Shrutis and to the Maharishis
I bow to the Satgurus and to the avatars
I bow to the gurus who have captured my soul
I bow to the many in the One

Om Bhur Bhuvah Suvah
Tat Savitur Varenyam
Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi
Dhiyo Yonah Pracodayat

Destroy the Ahamkara in me
Remove the avidya in me
Stimulate my buddhi and let lofty thoughts arise
Dissolve my individuality in the sea of Brahmavidya

Atmajnana is what I seek
Unveil my pristine self
Bestow your grace upon me
And guide me to your royal chamber

Let me see you in both darkness and light
Let the sword of bliss pierce through this Kosha
Let this flesh turn to dust and
let my mind still reverberate your nama

2. Bliss Divine

The Soul of the Universe,
I bow to thee
The one Existence,
I bow to thee

It is never born
It never dies
One without a second
It is Bliss Divine

Permeating the whole Universe but whom nothing can permeate
Supreme and self-existent
The changeless behind the changing

Beyond, there is nothing
Yet it is everything
That is the Absolute, That thou art
It is Indivisible, Eternal, Immutable, Sat-chit-ananda

Nameless, Formless, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent,
This Almighty Brahman

3. Black

You are ignorant of the truth and you have come to preach?
Insisting that your way is the way it should be seen
It is an exposition of opinions and it's the blind leading the blind
Faith and not blind faith
Realize and don't speculate
Save yourself before you save the rest
Cause your dogmas are going to drown you

Read between the lines to see the real doctrines

Save yourself from the clutches of blind teachers,
the charismatic Spiritual Architects
Be a slave to the truth and not the man
No one has power till you empower him (or her)
You instill fear into the hearts of the meek to induce faith
You choose what you want to hear and see to save your beliefs

You want your way, but I want both

In the absence of freedom, where is choice?
Without choice, your mind is enslaved
Don't you realize, the existence of one depends on another
And parts make the whole

You promise peace and harmony
But your dogmas make it an impossibility
If you can't see the unity in existence,
that doesn't mean it cannot be seen
Truth refracted by unqualified minds
Arousing emotions to enthral
And to entice into mental slavery;
Immaculate deception!
True wisdom is to directly perceive

4. Mahamaya

Avyakta-namni paramesa-saktih
anady avidya tri-gunatmika para
kary'anumeya sudhiy'aiva maya
yaya jagat sarvam idam prasuyate

The Power of the Absolute contained
It is not real and not unreal
The material cause of the universe of names and forms I perceive

A profound mystery beyond intellectual comprehension
And it will always be

This finite mind cannot comprehend your true nature. Its maker!
World of contradictions
That's the way it is

You are Time
You are Space
You are Causality

Srishti stiti binashanam
shakti bhute sanatani
Gunashraye Gunamaye
Narayani Namo-stu-te

You are Time
You are Space

This inscrutable power hides the real nature of the Absolute
It has the power of concealment and the power of projection

Beyond this phenomenal world there is eternity
Transcending the phenomenal world I'll realise Infinity
Acknowledging only that which is real achieve immortality
Searching for it here and there only to find it within

Transcending Time
Transcending Space
Transcending Causality

It is the cause of bondage
Sorrow and pain are its effects
It is a Statement of Fact

You are enslaved by nature
You try to free yourself
But you are trapped
This bondage strangles you and you scream
"Freedom!" You want to be free!

Not till you're on your knees and you plead
You yearn. Time to discern

Not to be bound, to be free
On your knees you must plead
The hands of grace will now embrace you
Now, be free!

5. The Ancient One

Om Triyambakam Yajamahe
Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam
Urvarukamiva Bandhanat
Mrtyormuksheeya Mamrtat

Terrifying and yet benevolent
Where the opposites dwell in harmony
O Mahadeva, Praise to thee
He is the eye of the storm
And the calm after the same storm
The Primal Cause, the Effulgent One
Om Namah Shivaya Shivaya Namah
I bow to the Ancient One,O Rudra
Bow to the Ancient One, O Consort of Durga

The King of the Holy Mountains
Who dwells beyond the three gunas
He is the three-eyed one
With the ash-besmeared body
The one with the matted locks
Who slays the demons

I bow before this wielder of the trident
Who bears the Holy River in his matted locks
Can't you see the serpent slithering around his neck
O Mahayogi
O Conqueror of Death
The one who walks the cremation grounds
garlanded with human skulls
O Hara, My obeisance to you

O Lord of the three worlds

The King of the Holy Mountains
Who dwells beyond the three gunas
Who is the Maha-Guru

6. Atman

The sole reason for your existence, It is
Your Supreme Guide in both darkness and light,
The eternal witness,
The one that is, and the one that will forever be
It knows no death or birth and exists through eternity

Thus it says,

"I am in you, you are in me
I am you, you are me
I'm hidden behind your individuality
Step aside, I will reveal myself"

The source of all knowledge is within the Self
That Immortal One, so far yet so close

It is free, So you'll be
If you merge with That
By knowing That everything else is known
The self is ever free
It holds the key to the transcendental world
The source of infinity

That is all that exists
The essence of the whole existence
That Thou Art!
It is bliss, pure consciousness

Tat tvam asi
Ayam Atma Brahma
Prajnanam Brahma

The search for immortality ends in the Atman
By knowing That everything else is known

Know yourself to be that One and not the transient ego
Discard the fetters of ignorance and for once be yourSelf

7. Wareligion

Pathetic display of unjustified aggression
Killing of mortals in the name of religion
You kill your other self and you think it's God's will
Not knowing that you've been victimized by your false ego

Instead of fighting on the battlefields
Wage the war on the mental plane

Your mind is now misleading you
Enslaved in a cell of dogmatism

You call him Father, but are you a worthy child?
If He is so merciful, why are you so merciless?

All apparent dissension and conflicts will fade
into obscurity when you see the Unity behind this Diversity
With whom can you fight, if there's only One
Contemplate!

Wage the war on the mental plane
Kill the ego, which breeds ignorance

Seek Shanti, Abide in Shanti

8. For the Dying

This fear of death grips you as you approach your last hour
Can't take your possessions with you beyond

The anxiety kills you beforehand
The mystery of your destiny, the unseen land
Forget not, you mould your destiny
And that you are a child of Divinity

There's no Eternal Damnation
No flames can consume you
You are an immortal

Are you tired of this Samsara
The release is ever in front of you
So forget it not
Another birth, another life, another Death
On and on it goes till you're back home
Where you merge with that One

You won't burn in hell
Cease this fear
No flames can consume you
You are the eternal

Could have died a thousand times before
Karma is taking you round and round
Destroy this impelling force

This life is full of pain
And you'll be back again
Attain freedom through faith
You know it's never too late

9. Sin

Mind your conditioned mind, which you use to judge one.
Conditioned by your own ideals, you denounce the ones who differ
A sinner or a saint, to be judged not by you but by a perfect one
You commit the great sin by calling one a sinner

Heartless and mindless, you judge, disparage and ridicule
The duplicity of your unbounded love is now revealed
A mindless heart and a heartless mind are of no use
Let me ask you now, who is the sinner?

Are you talking about God's plan or is it your plan for God
Like you know it all, you say what's right and what's wrong
Your arrogance and ignorance prove that you are an empty shell
I can hear the echoes of the mutilated truths from within your mind

Quick to judge, slow to think, absence of the intellect
You denigrate, patronise, desecrate and chastise
Your own ideals should be your judge and you the judged
Have you heard this line before: "Judge not, that ye be not judged"

Heartless and mindless! you judge, disparage and ridicule

10. No War

An eye for an eye
Till you lose your eyes
Violence begets violence
You start and it never ends
The weak can't resist the urge to retaliate
The strong shall endure the pain with repose

You want to conquer the world
But not yourself
What have you gained when the one
Closest to you is far away

Coward! Accept the fact
Weakness is your god
The reins are cut asunder
And watch your senses flee
Your mind has no control
Over your worst enemy
End up being a slave
To your own inadequacy

Immense power without aggression
Slowly consuming without engagement
Conquering without bloodshed
With the right mindset

11. Ananda

As you seek the pleasures in life
It slowly turns into pain
The titillating moments of joy
Torment you till the end

Can't stand the test of time?
The ways of the world are so sublime
The cycle of rise and falls
Makes you go out of line

Trying to satisfy this insatiable hunger
But all your attempts turn futile
The desire to know the beyond
That makes your life so profound

The apparent needs lose its nobility
The ecstasy you seek is your innate seed

If you want full control
Dive deep into your soul
Drown in the ocean of Ananda

No sense of time and space
Knowledge is now bestowed
Taste this divine nectar, Ananda
