THE CARRIER LYRICS
1. No. 51
All aboard the conductor screams. He knew he was the only one the could save their dreams. He had to pick who lived and died solely by occupation. He played God in all their lives. He was the reason why a million people had to die on that day. And as he stared into all their faces, he heard the screams of those trying to be saved. He played God in all their lives that day. Nothing's as scary as the earth crumbling. Nothing could numb the pain of knowing tomorrow will never be. He lit up a cigarette in hopes to calm his nerves and as the smoke filled his lungs, he prayed to an unmerciful lord. Excuse me sir, I forget your name. I'm just another nameless face that won't see another day. Excuse me sir I'm sorry that my worst nightmares are my only grasp on sanity. I wish I could save this world from dying. But now it's my turn to become another piece of matter floating endlessly through the abyss above. No love can save me. Time stopped. It all went black. All the memories that I've had from my past escaped through my brain. The silence deafening could drive one insane. All that I've worked for and all the friends I've made are just as useless as hoping a God might come save me. No one can blame faith for trying to ease the pain. But when the world ends, there will just be nothing. Nothing.
2. Hello Uncertainty
I woke up the same as I did everyday, but something has changed. Everyone has gone insane. So I turned on the news to see why everyone has lost their minds. I watch as her tear raped cheeks report about her life. About how everyone will die. Welcome to a world where no laws exist. Where your life is completely meaningless. I can't believe in something I can't see. Now that I know the world is ending, shouldn't you be showing yourself to me? I wish I could've been on No. 51, but as the sky bleeds fire I knew I won't be a lucky one. Goodbye to a world that never loved and hello to uncertainty. Millions lined up at the churches doors to repent for their sings and just kept sinning. We are the greatest plague the earth has ever seen. I'll hold my breath till I come close to death. And once my heart stops beating, I won't have to see this world crumbling. I won't see anything. Chaos has erupted in the streets. Goodbye to a world that never loved and hello uncertainty.
3. Epilouge: Forgiveness
The sky is dead, the sun has set. I close my eyes and try to forget. This day that time has overtaken, this day that hope has forsaken. I'm waiting for the world to burn me down. Time has changed me and soon time will erase me. I've realized that I've done so much wrong. I've got no place to call my home. Now that change to live has come and gone. People screaming all along the streets, knowing that their world lays in defeat. Lies in defeat. Time has changed me and soon time will erase me. I've realized that I've done so much wrong. I've got no place to call my home. Farewell to who I am, farewell to who I used to be. Promises of better days have come and gone. Farewell to the man you see. I pray that there's no eternity for me. Forgive me destiny, this world has fucking destroyed me. Forgive me destiny, this world has ruined the plans you have for me. Life has polluted me. Forgive me, forgive me.
