1. Courage & Faith
Who will stand and rise, who will step out on courage and faith, where are my warriors, where have you gone [x2]. Will none of you come forth and proclaim, His name, why is it easier to fit in, rather than stand out [x2], is it because we care too much about what this world this thinks, my heart hurts when I look at how far south we’re falling [x2], I will not shrink back and fall in line with the rest of the world, I can’t be silent [x2], I step out in the name of Christ, with my sword held high [x4], you talk a big game but when it comes time to die, you shrink back and you fall in line, fall in line with the times [x2], do you see the holes in His wrists, do you see the holes in His feet [x2], that’s the mark of His suffering and I will not let that God.
2. Crimson Stain
I hear the Savior say, “Thy strength indeed is small; Child of weakness, watch and pray, Find in Me thine all in all.” [x2] Jesus He paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain [x2], He washed it white as snow, O praise the One who paid my debt, and raised this life up from the dead, For nothing good have I Whereby Thy grace to claim; I’ll wash my garments white In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb. And now complete in Him, My robe, His righteousness, Close sheltered ’neath His side, (I am divinely blest). Lord, now indeed I find Thy pow’r, and Thine alone, Can change the leper’s spots And melt this heart of stone. When from my dying bed My ransomed soul shall rise, “Jesus died my soul to save,” Shall send the vaulted skies. And when before the throne I stand in Him complete, I’ll lay my trophies down, All down at Jesus’ feet. O praise the One who paid my debt, and raised this life up from the dead.
3. Excuses
I never thought it would end this way, as the rain poured down around me, constantly slipping, I can’t get a firm grasp, Oh God what have I done [x2], why am I always coming up short, the water flowing over me, flowing over me, unable to catch my breath [x2], if you believe, if you truly believe, we will believe, we will believe, when the waters deep, we will believe, we will believe, we will not sink, where are you, in this time of need, soaked from the shame of this world, I have reached the end, Your hands were just out of reach I failed to give you everything [x2], (prayer), You are everything [x2], God You’re everything, it’s time to take a stand, against my flesh and stop making excuses, stop making excuses x2, this storm is growing, the rain still pouring, these tides will never let me go, it’s sink or swim, You jump right in, pull me out and save me from the darkest whirl wind I was in, it’s time to take a stand, against my flesh and stop making excuses, stop making.
4. To Those Who Walked Away
I watch now as the world consumes you, or better yet you consume the world, without the slightest remembrance of our Savior and what He did, there is no fellowship beyond hatred, once clothed in righteousness you now stand naked, never before have I seen such pride in sin, most of the world thinks the trip to hell counts as a win, but we are in the last days before His return, before most of this disgusting world ignites to burn, and who cares what the world says or does to me, I have been set free by my Savior who was nailed to a tree, the war has raged inside my heart, it’s always been there, it tried to tear me apart, but I found the truth, I found the way, I’ve had this joy since He took the darkness away, where did, you go, I look in to your eyes and saw that flame but now it’s gone, and now all I can do is scream and shout at the top of my lungs, for you to hear His voice and once again come home, and turn away from worldly death, oh won’t you turn, (prayer), I’m waiting for you to run back home, I see what the world does for you, it’s never enough, my God is a God that you never knew, He’s the One you never chose, I prayed for your souls every day of my life, I remember the days when we used to worship together, the smile on your face how He made you feel, do you remember [x3] I remember.
5. 3/23/09 (The Day I Lost My Dad)
Dear God my pain is tearing me apart, I hear your voice Lord, Your will is pure, Father, give me Your vision, I will endure, every time I look in the mirror, all I see is you, and when I close my eyes, I can feel you in my heart, the promises I made, I will see them through, even though, even though you’re not with me, we will never be apart, I loved you with all my heart and you gave me everything, I vow to you I will do the same, I will not quit, I can’t believe I’m saying these words, I would do anything, to have you back home with me, Dear God this pain is tearing me apart, I hear your voice Lord, Your will is pure, Father, I will endure, Dear God I need Your strength in me, I cannot pretend, to hold this in, I would continue but my mind is blank, the man I am today, you are to thank, I need to let you go, if you hadn’t left me, I wouldn’t be who I am today, I hope you know how much you meant to me, if didn’t have to end this way
6. Constant Battle
Why do I always give in, turn to the things that torment my soul, when will I finally submit, and give You all I am, Lord break me and rip these chains that always hold me down, tears from my eyes as I can’t resist, I am once again, once again, being taken away in the wrong direction, Lord take me away from this bondage, from this bondage, I don’t want to be a slave to this world, I want to run away from the pain but I can’t, I do not need you, I do not need you any more, I need to stand my ground, and look you in the face, I need to stand my ground, and put you in your place, I need to stand my ground, my King is here, and look you in the face, He lives in me, I need to stand my ground, whom shall I fear, and put you in your place, my King is here as I point to my chest, He is alive in me, no more will I succumb to darkness I am set free, my chains are broken, I am set free, because my Savior went to the cross and died for me [x2], I am released from this bondage, and the enemy tried to bury me, but I won’t, I won’t, back down, and I will look him in the face, no, you weren’t from the bottom, you were sent from Hell, you sent to bring me down [x2] and now I send you back to hell.
7. Freedom
What I don’t understand is how you don’t believe, with all the beauty in the world that surrounds you, His presence is everywhere and He knocks at your heart, yet you reject what you don’t want to hear, He is knocking, He is knocking, at your heart, from this day forth, you have no excuse, you are holding the key, is it because you’re afraid to submit, are you afraid to bow down and lose your freedom, freedom [x8], my eyes have been open to the truth I once thought was a lie, but I finally gave in to the contestant knocking at my heart [x4], arise and go forth in to the mighty arms of God, watch as you become transformed into the image of Him [x2], This is a knocking on your heart, and the chance for a brand new start. Is it worth your freedom? What is worth your freedom. And all those things that you clinch with a fist, they will be shattered on the day you submit. What is worth your freedom? Is this worth your freedom? I've never walked a day in your shoes, but you've never spent a second in His. Cause your pain doesn't compare to that cross that He bore, jut so you could learn what it truly is to forgive.
8. We Are Not The Enemy
Don’t sit there and judge me without knowing my heart [x4], there’s a lot more than you can see, I know how hard this must be, but you have to, you have to believe, you just have to believe, I’m speaking to non-Christians and Christians alike, I see your walk and how it aligns, don’t tear me down before you know my heart, and this is where it starts.
9. I Surrender
And my heart cries out, and I surrender [x4], the feeling I get when I’m in Your presence is overwhelming, never have I felt love like when you wrapped Your arms around me and called me Your own, Lord great is Your love, Lord great is Your name, Jesus I am Yours, the debt You paid has me in awe, I repay You by praising Your name, we are all lost, without You, Father [x3], what it must be like to know You were going to die, the pain so great the blood poured from your pores, You knew the scourging was coming and You could see the nails driven in to your wrist, suffocating until Your last breath Lord, give me courage like You, oh give me courage like You [x6], Oh Lord make me able to stand, to follow Your plan, to see it through, to move mountains in hearts just like You, just like You [x2], just like You
